
Established in 2013 Try Time Junior Rugby League(Non Contact)provides a safe and enjoyable environment where children with Special Needs can play Rugby League.
TRY TIME Junior Rugby League program provides a safe, enjoyable and inclusive enviroment where children, teenagers and adults of all abilities can play Rugby League in their loacl community.
Catering for both Female and Males who have Special Needs and Intellectual Disabilities ranging from but not limited to: Autism, Down Syndrome, Developmetal Delay and Vision Impaired with the core focus on Ability not their Disability.
Our program is run by accredited coaches and trainers and is a modified version of the game playing or training on a weekly basis to suit each individuals need whilst trying to keep it as real as possible using Rugby League techniques with a clear focus promoting: fitness, strengthening muscle tone, improvement in gross motor skills, social interaction and team work.

The program is not just about fun, there is also significant improvement in gross motor skills using Rugby League techniques to improve mobility and flexibility, hand-eye coordination, improved attention span, and fitness.
Our coaching clinics are designed for families to either see or try our program to establish comfort and suitability.
Try Time currently has over 100 participants playing out of Wentworthville JRL and Mounties JRLFC.
